Rapid City marshals announce contest

to name the team mascot!

The Rapid City Marshals have announced a contest to submit the name of the team mascot. The mascot was introduced to by the team during the 2023 indoor football season. However, the Marshal mascot still doesn't have an official name. That's where the team owners are looking for your help to find the perfect name for the larger than life Marshal.

The contest will happen in two phases:

• Fans will have 30 days to submit their suggestion for the mascot's name. Interested fans can submit their idea via online form on the teams website that can be found here. Or by visiting MarshalsFootball.com/Marshal 
• After all submissions have been received and the submission period closes, Marshals staff will choose their favorite five names and issue a Facebook poll to let the fans choose the winning name. The online poll will be active for one week per the teams website. The winner will receive bragging rights and a Marshals Swag Bag!
