Marshals Announce Third Halftime Concert

The Rapid City Marshals announced a third halftime concert for during their debut season with the Arena Football League. Female pop star, Bonnie McKee will headline the halftime show during the April 27th game against the Iowa Rampage. This is the first of ten regular season games for the Marshals

Bonnie McKee is a Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, actress, screenwriter and director. She has written 10 singles that have reached number one in either the United States or the United Kingdom, selling more than 30 million copies worldwide. McKee had a 2013 hit "American Girl" followed by "Bombastic" in 2015.

McKee is well-known for callaborating with pop singer, Katy Perry. Together they wrote the songs "California Girls", "Teenage Dream", "Last Friday Night", "Part of Me", "Wide Awake", and "Roar". She has also co-wrote or wrote many other hits for artists such as Britney Spears, Kesha, Cher, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Lambert.

The halftime performance is expected to be up to 15 minutes in length and showcase a variety of her songs. Marshals co-owner Rebecca Chapman said she and co-owner, Wes Johnson have been working for months on these halftime shows. "It's all part of bringing an un-paralleled family-friendly experience to the Summit Arena for our Arena Football games," Chapman said.

Season tickets are still on sale starting at only $82.50 per person which includes all six home games. Single game tickets are expected to go on sale Friday, April 12th at the Blue Peak Ticket Office at The Monument.
