Cory Henry Returns For His Second Season Of Marshals Football

The Rapid City Marshals welcome back Cory Henry for his second season with the organization. After joining the Marshals for their inaugural season in 2022, he now spends most of his time calling the Black Hills home. This is his fifth season playing in the Champions Indoor Football League (CIF)

Cory was born and raised in Miami, FL and attended Florida Atlantic University. Henry has a list of athletic accomplishments that include:

  • 2010: Phil Steele 4th Team Freshman All American.
  • 2013: Conference lead in Sacks (8.0).
    • First Team All Conference USA Selection.
    • Broke and set a new school sack record (17.5).
  • 2014: Attended Rookie Mini Camp - Miami Dolphins.
  • 2014: Attended Rookie Mini Camp - Tampa Buccaneers.
  • 2014: Attended Dallas Cowboys Private Workout.
  • 2014: Played for the Tampa Bay Storm (AFL).
  • 2015-2016: Played for the Ottawa Redblacks (CFL).
  • 2017: Played for the Sioux Falls Storm (IFL) - This season the Storm went to the United Bowl Championship, but was defeated by the Arizona Rattlers.
  • 2018: Played for the Iowa Barnstormers (IFL) - The Barnstormers went all the way to the United Bowl Championship game and defeated the Sioux Falls Storm winning the championship title.
  • 2019: Played for the Orlando Predators (NAL).
  • 2019-2020: Played two seasons with the Omaha Beef (CIF).
  • 2021: Played for the Jacksonville Sharks (NAL) and the inaugural season of the Wyoming Mustangs (CIF).
  • 2022: Played for the inaugural season of the Rapid City Marshals (CIF).
