The Rapid City Marshals will hold tryouts for the 2024 Marshals Cheerleader Squad on December 2, 2023. Tryouts will be held at Rapid City Central High School. 

Head Coach, Marissa Crawford is back for her second season leading the Marshals Cheer Team. In 2022 Marshals ownership Rebecca Chapman and Wes Johnson along with Crawford chose 15 members to be a part of the Cheer Team. The 2024 season will return with 15 members plus Marissa to pave the way for another entertainment filled Marshals season. 

Last season the Marshals Cheerleaders hosted a mini dance camp which the team expects to have again during the 2024 season. Crawford and Marshals ownership intend to increase the size of the camp during this next season. The organization is also looking to host community tailgate parties and more entertainment now that the season will run into the summer months after announcing the teams new league affiliation with the Arena Football League during their October 3rd press conference.

AFL league commissioner Lee Hutton told fans and media at the October press conference to expect bigger things from the new league affiliation. Hutton expects to see "halftime concerts" at some games as well as during tailgating events. He said there's potential for nationally televised games right from Rapid City!

The Marshals Cheerleaders are hoping to create a bigger, funner, more interactive family-fun atmosphere during the 2024 season!
